NOWHERE BAND

is a more-or-less weekly comic about my experiences in the bottom rungs of the Minneapolis music scene; for about ten years, I've been making music and writing about it, and Nowhere Band is what happens when all of this experience collides with my obsession over comics.

While I'm drawing extensively from my experiences, the strip isn't really autobiographical; no one character maps to anyone in real life. The one exception to this is Nowhere #4, where the teenaged Josh fantasizes about covering Rush in a packed stadium. Yeah, I did that.

My current band, Derailleur, has a pretty spiffy website. If Nowhere appeals to you at all, you should go check us out and see where this is coming from. I'm also planning on putting up a site for my defunct country-rock band Red Hay, but that's a work in process at this point.

As far as that goes, I've done a bunch of other comic work, all of which is aggregated over at my other site, Raketenwerfer.
